This is an eyewear store design. Glasses are one of the most refined and practical items we wear, with structural and mechanical characteristics. Through countless small parts and technologies, glasses serve a functional role in correcting vision, but they are also delicate works of art and a fashion statement. We want the new store for the brand 'ZEUS,' with 20 years of experience in eyewear research and production, to reflect the precision and refinement of eyewear. In the ZEUS space, we meticulously showcase the integration of eyewear structure, the precision of mechanical assembly, the harmony and balance of function, and the elegance of aesthetics.

First, our goal is to unify the main spatial line, combine structures, and create a natural flow within the space. Although the displays on the walls vary in form, they maintain a consistent height, naturally forming the long axis of the space. In short, these elements guide the flow of the space. Additionally, the columns serve as diagonal axes that welcome visitors and functionally divide the spatial layout.

Secondly, from the large structures within the space to the furniture and lighting, we chose not to conceal but rather to expose the assembly components, bolts, nuts, and other elements. These mechanical details become design features throughout the space, making it appear more intricate and refined while highlighting the mechanical nature of eyewear, showcasing the brand's professionalism.

Finally, the display methods and heights are varied. The design of all the eyewear display furniture takes into account the unique characteristics of each pair of glasses. These pieces harmoniously showcase both functionality and design through different heights, display styles, and decorative materials.

Specifically, to showcase the various lens colors of a single sunglasses collection, we designed a wall display divided into four sections along a long wall. Mirrors and staggered furniture heights create a dynamic and rhythmic spatial feel. To highlight the different colors of the sunglasses, the furniture is designed in a subdued monochrome palette.

The next display area adopts a more minimalist design to highlight the frames and shapes of the glasses, using fresh colors to balance the space. In this way, we aim to translate the characteristics of the small object—'glasses'—into the larger space, paying attention to details to create an environment that reflects the identity of 'ZEUS.' Through this space, we hope ZEUS's efforts and long-term commitment in the eyewear industry will be recognized, helping the brand present itself to visitors with a more professional, refined, and sophisticated image.
